Over the weekend I went to Ohio for my grandpa’s 90th birthday celebration. And y’all I actually got dressed in something beside my work uniform. So, of course, I had to share it with you here! This is a perfect Plus Size Fall Black Monochromatic outfit.
We had to take a group family picture that requires everyone to wear black.
Since I was already wearing a black sweater, I decided to put together a Black Monochromatic look. I broke out a pair of black flare jeans I’ve had for years and haven’t ever worn. I don’t typically go for monochromatic looks, but I absolutely loved how chic this outfit looked.
I picked the sweater up for Nordstrom Rack a few weeks ago for $32!! Wow! Can we talk about the deals at Nordstrom Rack for a second. I picked up about 6 items for right at $100. I usually spend that amount of money on one things from Nordstrom. Any who, I love a slouchy neck sweater. They’re so cozy, perfect to pair with jeans, or dress it up. I decided the neck line needed to have a moment. I paired it with pulled back hair and a statement earring and it was super chic.
These jeans are from Charlotte Russe a few years ago. They’ve been hanging out in my closet for years because I wasn’t quite sure if I could pull the off. But I took a chance this weekend, without a backup plan and it all worked out.
My shoes are the Blando booties I purchased for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. They are super comfortable, and they’re waterproof. Which is awesome for someone who lives in A climate where we get slot of rain and snow in the cooler months. You can see them in a Try on haul here.
This jacket is bomb. It’s a faux leather jacket I got a few years ago. There is a knit panel through the sleeve for stretch. Which I great when I’m wearing bulky sweaters.
